We close our week-long tribute to Patrick J. Lynch today with one last set of photos. Here is Pat just before shredding up the 3100 foot drop of the Tram at Snowbird UT (real men can ski in jeans if they want to.)
Here is Pat on a three-generation ascent of the 4000 foot drop at Panorama BC.
Here is Pat cutting up all 68 degrees of Priest Lake ID.
Here is Pat on a three-generation ski adventure to his beloved home-court of Sun Valley ID and its 3400 foot drop. Pat loved the Warm Springs side, but of course could also beat you to the bottom of River Run (Pat knew how to avoid the moguls.)
Here is Pat with his sister in one of those sports cars.
Although Pat always said "people who work should make more money than people who dont," his suntan may belie the sentiment.
Here is Pat enjoying some rustic delicacies and the company of two beautiful women.
Here is Pat with some of his snow-proteges.
Our tribute last week neglected to mention that Pat had a fantastic jazz record collection (records are vinyl discs with a hole in the center and grooves read by old-timey needles and tone arms) that abruptly ended with his marriage in 1958 – from Miles to Coltrane to Ella to Duke to Frank -- no Beatles, no rock and roll. Pat had a great life and is ready for his next step.
(6000FootDrop.com will return to its regularly scheduled sarcasm later this week. See you there!)
